Episode #277
Do you have time to personally connect with 1000 or 3000 donors?
Tara Morgan found herself needing to personally connect with thousands of donors. And she needed to do it in a span of 25 days.
Why thousands of donors in 25 days?
Tara tells the story of when she was working for the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF). As you’ll see in the video, there was no way she would be able to personally touch every donor, so she had to bring in help. You’ll learn how she created a small army of ambassadors to help her.
Was she successful? Did she raise more money? Absolutely.
Tara currently works as the Chief Relationship Officer for the Pocock Rowing Center.

Hey Chris –
I have a board presentation/training next week and wanted to use the video where the board members who were reluctant to contact donors were assigned X number of donors and throughout the year they connected with them in various ways. The video described the various ways they connected and how long-term relationships were developed. Can you help me find that video? I can’t locate it among the ones I have but I know that I saw it. Please help!
