Episode #14
Are you putting people to sleep with your nonprofit’s statistics?
So how do you take a boring statistic and turn it into a piece of compelling information? …something that not only keeps people awake, but generates buzz, and also changes how people think about an issue?
Peter Drury had that very problem.
In this week’s movie, you’ll see how his organization took some dull statistics and turned them into a compelling story that helped change state policy.
UPDATE: When I first interviewed Peter, the organization he was with was Sightline (where this story takes place). Peter is now with the nonprofit, Splash. Both organizations tell wonderful stories.
Come meet Peter in person. He’ll be presenting at the Nonprofit Storytelling Conference.
