Thank you for this very helpful presentation on good boards. And most of all for keeping the thoughts and ideas of Janie Williams available to all. I am glad her wisdom is living on.
Many times a mediocre board member can maintain a tie to the organization through committee work, and this likely will focus their time on the aspect of the agency that they are most passionate about. It will be a commitment that is more scaled to their time and interests and the agency does not lose the relationship with the individual.
