Episode #285
Could you raise more money by telling better stories?
Nonprofit storytelling is extremely important when it comes to fundraising. But sometimes it can be difficult to get the best stories and to use them to engage donors.
In this week’s movie, Zan McColloch-Lussier from Mixtape Communications, tells you some of the methods he’s used to collect and share stories. He also tells how one organization uses stories in such a way that it keeps him donating to them.
To learn how you can raise a lot more money by using stories, join us for this year’s Nonprofit Storytelling Conference.

I work for a non-profit radio station and have a “tell us why you donate” comment box on our donation page. I also ask all our on-air hosts to forward me especially moving/funny/impassioned emails. Both are invaluable when I need source materials for thank you notes, solicitations, newsletters, etc.
