Episode #306
Do your donors feel great when they read your newsletter?
In today’s video, Shanon Doolittle and Beth Ann Locke share three simple tips for making your donors feel great. You want your donors to feel like they are making a difference… right?
Not normally filmed like this…
As you’ll see, this week’s video was shot in a hotel foyer. Why?
We were in Chicago planning for this year’s Nonprofit Storytelling Conference when inspiration struck Shanon and Beth. So, we filmed this week’s Movie Mondays episode on location. I hope you like it. 🙂
Also, if you’re looking for ways to show your donors more gratitude, then check out Shanon and Beth’s Gratitude Camp.
Do you have any tips or advice around making newsletters more engaging for donors? If so, please share them in a comment box below the video. Thanks.

More photos, less words. If something is too long, people will only skim it or not read it at all. Edit, edit, edit. Make sure the photos are of people looking at you so you can see their eyes. Don’t talk about what the organization is doing but what the donor is doing.
