Episode #248
Could you raise $250,000 online, in just 36 hours?
That’s exactly what Florida State University did with the help of Justin Ware. And not only that, they brought in over 300 new donors.
Justin has helped many different organizations raise significant amounts of money and bring in new donors through the use of social media.
In this week’s video, Justin tells you what’s needed in order to raise lots of money through social media.

Any tips on how to thank those donors who come through social media? Especially if you use a crowdfunding platform–there may be many donors, each contributing a small amount, and you may have only their email addresses? Can you build relationships with them and hopefully retain them?

Chris,
This was an “aha!” moment for me. Simple message but terrific… how to supplement our annual fund with practical strategies for social media. I love the creation of an “online ambassador” program too.
Thanks!

Chris – GREAT Movie Monday. They all are helpful but this one was very clear on the steps for creating an online program. Thanks!

Thank you for such a clear, helpful Movie Monday! This very topic came up at our last board meeting, but none of us are adept at online stuff. Hiring an intern would be a fantastic way to start up and build a program like this!
