Episode #121
Do you sometimes forget to thank donors?
In this week’s video, Daiga Galins from Lakeside School, shares what they do to keep on top of thanking their donors and how they keep it personal.
She also tells you the three different questions that are answered in your donor’s mind when they are thanked.
It’s a quick movie this week (about 2 minutes).

Daiga and Chris,
Thanks for reminding everyone to say thanks.
I like to thank extra-generous donors five times.Sometimes this includes video thank-yous.
Tom Cottter was one of the University of Montana’s most generous donors. We made two videos to thank him, one as a birthday greeting and one as a keepsake of a gift announcement for him. Watch them here:

I had a fundraiser and after it was completed, I sent everyone a thank-you. I had several look shock and even told me ,that I was the first that they had recieved a thank-you card for their donation. These people have donated to other organization and recieved no acknowledgement. Shame on those that do not do this.
