Episode #256
Are you doing this one simple thing to ensure greater donations?
In today's video, Steven Screen tells you how he helped an organization increase their online giving revenue by over 20%.
It's a great strategy for helping your nonprofit raise more money at the year end, and there's a bonus to this strategy. Though it works incredibly well for year end fundraising, it can be used at other times of the year as well.
If you like the strategies Steven is talking about, then I'd highly recommend you get Steven's "Year-End Digital Fundraising Toolkit".
The kit gives walks you through, step-by-step, what to do to raise more money right now. You'll get examples of year-end fundraising appeals, homepage take-overs, facebook ads and more. He tells you what days to send your fundraising appeals on, and he encourages you to "steal" from the examples he gives you.
It doesn't get much easier to create a successful year-end fundraising campaign than this. If you're interested, click here. Save yourself 25% off the current price by using the coupon code: STORY25
BTW, I don't make a dime off of the sale of the kits. I just think if you're looking to bring in more year-end donations, you should have this kit.

I always get so much from Steven Screen’s videos – he’s got such great, practical ideas and he presents them very well.
Also, as per your note above, I just wanted to let you know about another online fundraising option for Canadian non-profits: ShopandShare.ca. It is a website that allows supporters to generate free donations for their chosen, local non-profit each time they shop online at hundreds of retailers and travel sites. It doesn’t cost them a penny extra to shop or use the site, and it’s free (and easy) for the non-profit organizations to participate, too.

I love this advice. It’s great advice! I wonder, though, if we could use a little more advice in the area of driving traffic to your site. If there isn’t an audience, the strategic change in website appearance won’t make a difference.

There was no video available?

Interesting, it is always great to hear another perspective.

I loved both videos! Really good information and hopefully I can use these as tools to convince my ED. Thank you!!
Renee Boyle says
Would love to see visuals of the Take Over and Bump Down.

Thanks Chris! This one is too simple not to try. Very much in line with what Sean Triner demonstrated with making actual donations to nonprofits in the room at the Storytelling Conference. If it wasn’t easy to process the donation on your site, you lost out.

Is there a place where we can see an example of the options you were talking about?
