A simple year-end email campaign that will increase your fundraising

Episode #301

It doesn’t get much easier than this.

In today’s video, Steven Screen shares how you can raise more money at the end of the year.  It involves a simple, three email sequence you can set up to run at the end of the year.  He tells you what to say in each email and when to send the emails to your donors.

Simple.  Simple.  Simple.

Also, check out the video with Steven and Jeff Brooks.  They give you seven simple ways to improve your fundraising through better storytelling.  You can see that video by clicking here:  7 Crucial Storytelling Tips

If you have a story or any advice to share around end of year giving, please share it in a comment box below the video. Thanks.

So my organization has never done an email appeal, just a letter. I have already changed the letter based on your ‘storytelling’ tips, and i will add these emails to my end-of-year plan so we can see what the impact on our ministry is. Thank you for all of the tips and suggestions… You Rock!

We are testing a longer, letter style appeal this year (thanks to the Storytelling Conference last year). I am going to add these 3 end-of-year email asks to the test too. Great timing. Thank you and keep the advice coming!

HELP! We are taking your advice this year and doing several emails to our donors at the end of year. I have question about segmenting the list. Who do your recommend get these emails? There is some hesitation to send this email series to all our donors (many of which might have given in the past month or two). Should the series only go to lapsed donors?
I would benefit from the email samples too!

Brilliant suggestion! Giving it a try this year. Thank you for sharing. And yes, I would also love sample copy for email solicitations.
