How to make your donors feel extra special at your event

Episode #252

Could you make your donors feel even more special at your event?

In this week’s video, Shanon Doolittle shares three simple, but effective, ways to make your donors feel extra special.  And what happens when you make your donors feel special? …They tend to give you more.  🙂

Shanon and I created this video for a short series she and I have over at Event Fundraising Tips.com. It was so well received that I thought I’d share it with everyone in the Movie Mondays family.  That’s you!

If you want even more tips and strategies for raising more money at your event, check out the DVDs and other videos Shanon and I put together. You can learn more about them here: Event Fundraising Strategies

Do you have any stories or advice on making donors feel extra special?  If so, please share them in a comment box under the video.  Thanks.

Great ideas on making attendees feel extra special. We just hosted a major event, and I was truly excited about several of our guests who had registered to attend. I expressed that to fellow co-workers. Should have picked up the phone and let the guests know!

Not too late, pick up the phone and tell them how great it was to see them at the event!

All of these are great tips. . .whether you do an event to raise money or visibility. . .the follow-up after the event is as critical! Remember to either e-mail, call or send a hand-written note letting your guests know how great it was to see them at your event too!

Shanon always has so many great tips! Thanks for these three relatively easy ones we can implement.
