Episode #245
Do your board members actively tell stories in your community?
Today’s video features Lori L. Jacobwith. She will show you how to get your board members excited to tell stories. Lori also tells you how to start creating a storytelling culture at your nonprofit.
Towards the end of the video, she gives a great example of how an organization was able to get funding because of the stories their board members told. There really is power in getting your board members to tell stories!

Only comment I would make before viewing the video is that it seems to me many times it is easier for board members/trustees to tell stories when they witness the stories first hand…this is not always an easy thing to have happen.

Great advice! Would love for the video to have given an example of a story.
